RTS Books on Buses Event with Pine Brook Elementary School
Pine Brook Elementary School contributed 1,000 books to the RTS Books on Buses program. The RTS Books on Buses program encourages elementary school children to read. Books donated from schools, organizations and agencies are available on all RTS buses for children ages 1-9.
More than 100 schools, libraries, publishers and other organizations have donated over 60,000 books to the RTS literacy program.

 Extra, Extra! Read All About It! RTS was featured in the New York Times. The fact that RTS was able to reduce the fare when transportation systems across the country are raising fares is being recognized nationally! Now everyone across the country will know Rochester residents ride the "Bus for a Buck."

Midtown Customer Service Booth Relocation RTS has temporarily relocated amenities available to customers. The Midtown Customer Service booth has relocated to the Greyhound/Trailways Retail booth in the corner section of Midtown Plaza. The relocation was necessary to prepare for the demolition of Midtown Plaza. The RTS Customer Service booth will remain in its new locations for approximately four months, or until the completion of a downtown customer service center.
