Downtown Transit Center Project

   Driving Rochester Forward!

The RTS Transit Center will transform the way people in the Rochester community use public transportation.  Its unique design, user-friendly features and amenities will provide convenience, comfort and safety for customers who ride the bus to and from downtown Rochester each day.  

The project has reached an exciting new phase as demolition and site preparation is complete and actual construction begins. A large crane erected on the site in early April will be used to place the columns and precast concrete panels that are the structure of the Transit Center. The first columns of the Transit Center will be put in place the week of April 15 and all of the precast panels should be in place by the end of June.
