Doing Business with RGRTA
General Information
The RGRTA Procurement and Grants Administration Department is responsible for procuring all goods, services, real property and construction projects required by RGRTA. In accordance with sound public contracting policies and procedures, the department administers 120 multi-year term contracts. RGRTA contract expenditures are approximately $18.5 million annually, excluding extraordinary purchases. Most contractual agreements are fixed-price in nature and are purchased via the "Invitation for Bids" method of procurement (low-cost, responsive and responsible bid) or "Request for Proposals" method (selecting highest-rated vendor considering factors in addition to cost).
