Animals Riding the Bus
Service animals are allowed on all RTS buses. A service animal is any guide dog, signal dog or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. Service animals perform some of the functions and tasks that the individual with a disability cannot perform, including pulling wheelchairs, carrying and picking up things for persons with mobility impairments, alerting persons with hearing impairments to sounds and acting as the eyes for those who cannot see.
If your animal is NOT a service animal (necessary for sight, hearing, etc), it must be in a cage that will not block the aisle or we cannot allow it on the bus.
