WATS Services

Wayne Area Transportation Service can take you anywhere you need to go in Wayne County. Whether you want to travel to work, shopping, or school, WATS can take you there!

A fixed route system was originally implemented in Wayne County in 1977 using three vans. Wayne County elected to join RGRTA in 1980. WATS operates Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

WATS provides service to 26 towns in Wayne County as well as a link to downtown Rochester with a shuttle that connects with the RTS Park & Ride in Webster. WATS is the primary provider of agency transportation in Wayne County, operating approximately 20 routes for Wayne County human service agencies.

Wayne Area Loop Service

WATS operates a loop service between Wayne County Monday through Friday. Passengers may flag down or get off a WATS bus anywhere along the route. Click here for a schedule & map.

Route 104 Connector Service

WATS offers service connecting the communities along Route 104 and the RTS Park & Ride in Webster. Departure from Webster may vary dependent upon RTS Park & Ride arrival. Passengers may flog down or get off a WATS bus anywhere along the route. Click here for a schedule & map.

Route 31 Shuttle

Newark Grocery Shuttle

Wegmans sponsors a free grocery shuttle for senior citizens from the Village of Newark. It is also open to the public. The WATS shuttle runs every Tuesday based on the following schedule:
