Livingston Area Transportation Service can take you anywhere you need to go in Livingston County. Whether you want to travel to work, shopping, or school, LATS can take you there!
Service in the Livingston County area began in 1977 for senior citizens and persons with disabilities only and used just three vans. Service was expanded to the general public in 1986 when the Livingston County Board of Supervisors voted to join RGRTA. Today, LATS is the largest operation of the regional systems. LATS provides service on special routes designed for the clients of Finger Lakes DDSO, ARC, and other social service agencies. LATS has received national recognition for its coordination with the Livingston/Wyoming ARC.

Senior Citizen Service
Livingston County Office for the Aging subsidizes the cost of providing service to senior citizens.
Persons 60 years of age or older are not charged a fare to and from the local Senior Nutrition Center. Office for the Aging accepts donations to help offset this expense. If you wish to make a donation, please tell the bus operator when boarding the bus.
Paratransit Service
LATS offers accessible, curb-to-curb transporation to individuals with a disbility who cannot travel to or from a LATS bus stop, or board, ride or disembark from the regular LATS bus for any reason. LATS buses equipped to accommodate wheelchairs are available Monday through Friday. This service is offered five days a week, and during the same hours that LATS operates. To reserve a ride on this service, you can call LATS at 585-658-4690 during the hours of 7:00AM to 5:00PM. The reservations can be made as early as 3 days before the ride, and as late as 5:00PM on the day before the ride.
